Bigfoot Facebook groups and blogs are reporting that the Ketchum paper announcing the finding of Bigfoot DNA has been rejected by peer review journal and will be published elsewhere, possibly in Russian journal. But, it can’t just be ONE story, it has to be many, conflicting and ridiculous. How did this all go down? Very unprofessionally, of course, with giant missteps, accusations of Big Science conspiracy and many aspersions cast. And, apparently, the new way to do communication in “science” is via Facebook posts. Who knew? Igor Burtsev, a Russian Bigfoot/Yeti researcher who originally leaked the results of the study via his Facebook page declared this news: Re the paper: the reviewed journals in the US refused to publish the paper. That is why Dr Ketchum has sent it to me to arrange publishing in any Russian reviewd journal. And I showed to our genetisits and understood that it was a serious work. I gave it up to the journal, now it’s under reviewing. This was AWFULLY CONVENIENT. Show us the rejection notice. Because I can’t believe one word from any party in this circus.
